Back in 2011, I took a break from school and moved to Chicago for a year. I went to school starting off as a nursing major in Texas, and discovered that nursing was not really for me. It was difficult deciding what type of career I wanted to pursue, but I’m so glad I came across Speech Pathology! Anyways, Chicago is so.much.fun (when it’s not snowing, of course)! I was REALLY hoping to run the Chicago Marathon this year, but I had no idea where my next adventure was going to take place, so I decided to put a hold on that. Hopefully next year! Speaking of running, I actually took this whole week off from absolutely no running. It’s hard, but I really need my knees to heal. It’s been bothering me a lot. After hearing about a marathon runner who had to take the entire summer off from running, I decided to finally rest my knees. It will take a while for me to get my speed and mileage back up, but I will just have to remember to stay patient!
I FaceTimed my dad and little sister during the week, and got homesick….so I made some Japanese bread! I used THIS recipe! Mine didn’t look as appetizing, but the rolls still turned out to be really fluffy!
Uhmmm Chance the Rapper has a new album! Everyone should go check it out, because he is so good! Some of my favorites:
